Career & Workforce Education
Welcome to Career Education at Los Angeles Mission College. ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ offers more than 24 robust and exciting career education (CE) programs that give students the education, technical training, and work-based learning experiences they need to qualify for and excel in the well-paying career of their choice.
Career Education courses take place in state-of-the-art facilities equipped with industry-standard equipment and technology. Many programs offer training that leads to industry certification and licensure. Career Education curriculum is continuously reviewed and strengthened by advisory boards made up of business and industry professionals who work with our faculty to ensure that students receive the rigorous, relevant instruction and training experiences they need to succeed in their career endeavors.
Students enrolled in Career Education classes and programs can choose either a short-term training course to earn a certificate of achievement, accomplishment, or specialization in job-specific technical skills, or a two-year program to earn an Associate degree. A number of Career Education programs offer students options to transfer to four-year colleges and universities after graduation.
Career education programs at ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ provide thousands of students annually with the training, skills, and confidence they need to move forward and thrive in careers in diverse fields including health care, multi-media, interior design, computer technology, business, administration of justice, child development, culinary arts, law, and more. Welcome to Los Angeles Mission College Workforce Trainings!
If you are looking for job training programs that last one year or less, you are in the right place. Our certificate programs will provide you the skills necessary to start your career in the industry of your choice.
And they can be at NO COST to you! Visit your local Veterans Training Center, Rehabilitation office, or your local WorkSource Center (such as an America’s Job Centers of California). If you don’t know where to go, please contact the at the LA Mission College campus at 818-482-1754.
