Associated Student Organization (ASO)


The Associated Student Organization (ASO) was established to provide students with the opportunity for participation in student leadership and the development of skills. 

The objectives of ASO are:

  • Advocate for the rights and needs of all ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ students and to address any concerns and/or issues thereof;
  • Support, raise awareness of, and promote cultural sensitivity and diversity;
  • Promote educational opportunities contributing to a successful college experience (student services, educational events, and other beneficial programs)

ASO votes on issues relating to Los Angeles Mission College and the student body.

ASO Mission

The Associated Student Organization is committed to serving the student body, community, and school. Leaders step up to make a difference on campus and to create unity, spirit, and connections amongst our student body. Students who participate in ASO are committed to providing resources and information to our students and the community.

ASO Frequently Asked Questions

During the Spring 2025 semester, ASO meets every Friday at 4:00 pm in the Student Services & Administration Bldg., 2nd floor in the Vice President of Student Services Conference Room.

  • The A.S.O fee is $10.00 for the Fall and Spring semester
  • The A.S.O Fee is $3.00 for Summer and Winter
