Los Angeles Mission College will celebrate Latino Heritage with a series of events celebrating the history, culture, and contributions that Latinos have made to society.
New Chicano Resource Center Celebrates History, Culture, and Community
Located on campus in the Learning Resource Center (LRC), the Chicano Resource Center serves as a space where culture, art, and academia intersect. It provides students with access to educational resources and programs that deepen their understanding of Chicano culture and support their academic success.

Tia Chucha鈥檚 Centro Cultural & Bookstore is proud to present an evening with acclaimed author Sandra Cisneros (The House on Mango Street). Ms. Cisneros will share her work and reflections in an intimate conversation with the community, joined by writers Luis J. Rodr铆guez and Alex Espinoza.
Where Memory Wanders Art Exhibit 鈥 October 6鈥揘ovember 15
Our AMP Gallery will will present 鈥淲here Memory Wanders,鈥 a new exhibition featuring the work of contemporary Latinx artists as they explore memory in both personal and collective forms through painting, mixed media, and photography. We will host an opening reception on Tuesday, October 7, from 5鈥8:30 pm.

Cafecito y Comunidad is a welcoming space for students, faculty, and staff to come together, connect, and support one another. This gathering offers a pause in the day to share stories, reflections, or simply be present as our community navigates and responds to the experiences around immigration at this time.
