New Students
If you are a new student, please follow these important steps before making an appointment with a counselor.
Step 1:
Explore courses of interest in the Schedule of Classes.
Explore our Career and Academic Pathways and for more information about career opportunities and program requirements.
Step 2:
AB705 assessment updates, please refer to the Assessment Center website.
English as a Second Language (ESL) students must complete the guided self-placement process in order to take ESL courses (credit or non-credit). For guided self-placement into the English as a Second Language (ESL) program, please contact our Adult Education Counselor, Professor Brianda Alvarez, at @email or at 818-364-7682.
Step 3:
Complete the by logging in through the Student Information System (your portal). Orientation provides important information about college resources such as Financial Aid, the Transfer Center, and Counseling.
Step 4:
Meet with a Counselor to discuss your educational goals and course requirements, develop student educational plans, and explore majors. Chat with our front desk.
Step 5:
Apply for Financial Aid. All students are encouraged to apply. Start by completing the Free Application for online.
Step 6:
Choose your courses from the Schedule of Classes and register online.
